For COP ESD students entering 7th, 8th, or 9th Grade.

• Learn life-saving first aid techniques

• Attempt the physical training required to be an officer

• Watch a demonstration of equipment used in the field

• Learn how and when equipment is used (handcuffing, tasers, thermal cameras, night vision, and body armor)

• Meet the K-9 unit and learn the role they play in the department

• Observe the robot used to assess critical situations

• Tour the facility and vehicles

Safety Clothing Requirements: closed-toe shoes.
