Camp is open to COP ESD students entering grades 10, 11, or 12 in Fall 2024.
Students will receive firsthand training and technical exercises in fillet welding with an introduction to flat groove welding with gas metal arc welding or flux core arc welding, as well as handheld plasma cutting processes.
This class is for students who have NOT taken a high school welding class.

Qualify for an American Welding Society (AWS) certification.
Clothing requirements for safety: Long sleeve cotton shirt, jeans with no rips or frays, high cotton socks. Leather work boots required; steel-toed boots preferred.
